A few additional notes for our LIFT families:

  • We are encouraging your kids to continue memorizing their Spring Bible Verses for credit towards the spring pins. You may send Crystal the previous week's verse via text, email, or Instagram direct message anytime on Wednesdays. Don't forget to send last week's if you haven't had a chance!
  • We will be posting some of the Bible verse videos each week on our private Instagram account. Please let us know if you would like your child's video to be on there to encourage other LIFT friends to recite theirs & to be able to see each other online while they're social distancing from their friends.
  • We still intend to have our 4th/5th graders finish their pine cars and hold a Pine Car Derby, date TBD.
  • We hope you enjoy the lessons & activities in the coming weeks. IF YOUR FAMILY DOESN'T HAVE ACCESS TO A BIBLE, PLEASE LET CRYSTAL KNOW IMMEDIATELY & SHE WILL DROP ONE ON YOUR DOORSTEP SO YOU CAN FOLLOW ALONG WITH OUR ACTIVITIES. In the mean time, you can download the YouVersion Bible App for free on your smart device.

Thank you for helping us continue to share Jesus with your families each week!!

Praying alongside each of you,

Your LIFT Team

LIFT

LIFT, our mid-week bi-annual program, is for children 3 years old through 5th grade and meets on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm. The evening includes worship, large group fellowship, small group discussions, scripture memory work, snacks, and more! This program provides an opportunity to invite community friends and families into our church home. Our goal is to grow the children of our community in God's Word.

Activities

Activities start at 6 pm.  LIFT drop-off includes checking your children in downstairs in our Family Life Center Lobby, heading straight down the hall to F12 to recite their weekly Bible Memory Verse and final stop in the gymnasium to sign in with their teachers. They will remain there for a 20-25 minute Opening Assembly where they enjoy worship songs, games, hear the weekly Bible verse, and more.

After the Opening Assembly, classes begin rotations. Each class  has 1-2 adult teachers and a youth helper or two. Rotations include: Bible story, games, science fun & snack/prayer time.

At 7:30 pm, parents/guardians pick up children in their individual classrooms with a quick initialed check-out.

    Who teaches the classes?

We are blessed to have many amazing volunteers, including parents, grandparents and other adult volunteers who have all been background checked and love to teach! We also have wonderful youth helpers assisting our adults. All volunteers are trained in our safety & security procedures, which are reviewed at the beginning of each semester.

What if my child has allergies?

No problem. We receive your specific information and will accommodate children with allergies.

What can I do to help?

That's our favorite question! See our volunteer page for information.

What if I have more questions?
